Urban Wildlife Illustrations

Sarah Landry illustrated a number of Peterson Guide books. She was both the author and illustrator of the Peterson Guide Book Urban Wildlife. Like many natural science illustrators, Sarah developed a deep attachment to nature as a child. Her goal with her Urban Wildlife project was to create a book that she would have loved to have had as a child—one that could help provide a sound beginning to a lifelong interest in nature. Urban Wildlife describes and illustrates commonplace creatures that can be observed by children close to home, in cities, towns and suburbs.
